Making Smoothies is an Art, not a Science!

Don’t expect to love everything you make right off the bat.  You’ll win some + lose some!  Substitute as your heart desires, and be sure to step out of your comfort zone trying new foods, superfoods, herbs, etc!

This one is kinda bonkers in the greens department – which indeed makes me Oh So Happy.  Go easy if you’re new to raw greens… there is an adjustment period for our digestive systems when introducing such “roughage”.  I love using spinach or romaine lettuce in place of the heartier greens like Kale or Chard.

  • 1 C Leafy Greens
  • 1 Apple (cored)
  • 1/2 C Parsley or Mint
  • 1/2 C Frozen Mango or Pineapple
  • Handful of Sprouts
  • 1/2 tsp Spirulina (Optional)
  • 2 TBSP Hemp Seeds or 1 Scoop Preferred Protein Powder
  • Blend.  Guzzle.  Soar.

This smoothie is Cleansing + Invigorating for the whole system; Spirulina being one of Nature’s Most Decadent Superfoods, along with the healthy fats from the avocado + coconut butter + hemp seeds, makes this one of my all time favourite green smoothies.  And, you might be surprised that it tastes like a dream!

Fertility + Pregnancy + Breastfeeding + Babies + Children

Nutrients to write home about:

  • Folate (Spinach + Spirulina) – important nutrient pre-conception + pregnancy.
  • Iron + Vitamins + Minerals + Trace Minerals + Antioxidants (Spinach + Spirulina + Hemp Seeds)
  • Healthy Fats (Avocado + Coconut Butter + Spirulina + Hemp Seeds)
  • Protein (Hemp Seeds + Spirulina)

  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 C Leafy Greens (Spinach)
  • 1/2 tsp Spirulina (a little less if baby is joining the party!)
  • 1 C H20
  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • Fresh Mint – to taste
  • 2 TBSP Coconut Oil
  • 2 TBSP Hemp Seeds
  • Raw Unpasteurized Honey – to taste
  • Blend.  Guzzle.  Soar.

* I don’t recommend sweetening for babies under 12-months of age.  Baby must be 12+ months if using unpasteurized honey.
